Plainfield, Ind. : Jan. 25: Making a New Home: Daniel Kelly and his wife Flora (c) try on clothes donated by churches in Plainfield, the home of his sister, Elizabeth Peabody (r) after he arrived from China with his mother, O Mu E Kelly, and three children to start a new life. Kelly left China after 20 years in labor camps with no personal possessions. Various organizations in Plainfield have donated clothing and money to help the family. AP Laserhphoto.
